 Since 1956, SCANPAN A/S has been an independent sales and production enterprise, and the company has always been 100% Danish owned. Our headquarters are near Aarhus, Denmark. Today, SCANPAN A/S is a high-technology manufacturer, producing innovative and functional kitchen equipment of the highest quality. The then-futuristic recycling concept which gave the business its initial vision continues to inspire us to this day, and we are extremely proud to be able to say that all our cast aluminium products today are manufactured from recycled aluminium.
Team spirit and innovation are concepts that go hand in hand at SCANPAN A/S, and by working together we have succeeded in turning more than 50 years of priceless experience into modern kitchen equipment for everyday household use.
Since 1981, when SCANPAN began its export business, our export share has grown steadily, and it now comprises more than 75% of the total turnover of the business. We export to more than 40 countries, and have offices in Finland and China, as well as subsidiaries in Norway and Singapore. Our goal of becoming a global supplier of kitchen equipment is therefore well on the way to being realised.
Core of the core
Our cast aluminium products with patented ceramic titanium coating have been the quintessential SCANPAN A/S products, helping us throughout all these years to stand out from the crowd and bringing us to where we are today. The simple idea behind the technology is that the ceramic titanium is heated to 30,000°, when the molten titanium fuses to the product’s compressed aluminium core, and the non-stick coating is then applied and hardened. As the material is an excellent conductor of heat, it distributes the heat across the bottom and sides of the product, achieving an even distribution of heat.
SCANPAN’s range
From one single pan series in 1956, SCANPAN’s range has since grown steadily. Our product series today cover a wide range, and as well as the ceramic titanium series, they also include design series in steel and copper, special products for daily cooking and baking moulds manufactured in functional silicone.
High quality has always been our source of pride, and we can therefore vouch for the durability of every single SCANPAN product, all of which are designed and produced with the help of a wealth of experience and traditional, sound techniques of craftsmanship. |
